Hello.

Today's card uses my all time favourite {Ippity} set.

The simple things.

This set is now heavily reduced in the sale along with many other fab sets.

Ive kept it simple and used distress inks for the background.

I stamped the main image brow then used glossy accents to stick the glitter on.

How about a 'Look Back Tuesday' post?

The reason why I thought I would do a little skip and hop down memory lane is that as you know there is a

{Ippity} Stamp Sale

going on here at the {Ippity} Inspiration Blog. Emily is one of the only distributor of {Ippity} in the UK and she is moving on and will not be stocking this range any more.

So I thought I would show some makes where I've included some {Ippity} stamps just to remind you of the awesomeness of these stamps LOL!

So get a cuppa and a biccy and enjoy!

First up is this card from August 2010 using the {Ippity} What Matters Most Kit

Ooo then what about these mushrooms from one of the first stamp sets I got from Emily? They are from the {Ippity} Because Of You kit and I used them on an Alice In Wonderland Altered page in April 2010.

Then we have the fabulous bird on the fence stamp from the {Ippity} Totally Happy kit used on this card from September 2010.

I always did love the stamps from the {Ippity} Moon Beams and Heart Strings Kit, you can see the stars in this make from March 2010.

Then there was this card from March 2011 which uses the wonderful {Ippity} Gurnsey Gingham stamp as a back drop to the Unity Suzi Blu You Are Loved (not {Ippity} I'm afraid but still a must have!

This {Ippity} Gurnsey Gingham stamp is now £2.75 I mean come on! Think of the creative possibilities! I'm a bit of a Gingham junky!

Then there were the cute Fishys from {Ippity} Fishy Philosophy used here in March 2010.

The next to show is another April 2010 make and used the {Ippity} Simply Home kit with the {Ippity} Moon Beams and Heart Strings kit.

Ok one last one, I've got a bit carried away but just thought I would show how versatile these stamps can be with this Christmas make from 2010 using the {Ippity} Totally Happy kit which was a Summer release but I've given it a Winter spin with some embossing powder and turned the bird into a Robin.

I was going for autumnal colours ad used yellow orange ad brown distress inks.

I clear embossed all the stamped images.

And finished with some ribbon and little pearls.

Hello.

Its a quick and easy kinda day today lol.

Ive used the ippity set New season New wonder.

Which has lots of lovely fruit images.

If you want any ippity stamps you can buy them from the menu----->

I stamped the image using two green inks sorry it doesn't show too well.

You stamp the lighter colour first then just the edges using a rolling technique with a darker colour.

I coloured the stem with brown ink.

The lines on the card are from a lawn fawn set available from make the day special.

I finished with some bakers twine.

DIY Wedding Organiser

I've been looking for a wedding organiser for a few weeks and was pretty disappointed on what was on offer in the shops. I don't know WHY it took me so long to remember that I am crafter...and am perfectly capable of designing my own! Duh. So here's some little peeks into my new wedding organiser....

Stamps: Ippity 'Because of You' (bird stamp)

I bought a plain workbook from Paperchase which has loads of fab plastic wallets and card pockets included in the notebook. I used red and white acrylic paint to create the background on the front cover, added ribbon, vellum and the stamped image. I then added some tags and some teeny stamped hearts.

I have used the {Ippity} 'What Matters Most' Kit available in the UK from the lovely Emily here

This has to be one of my favourite {Ippity} stamp sets and so useful. My backgrounds were created with Acrylic Paint. I then stamped and clear embossed the images.

I stamped the flourish randomly on the grey card with grey ink.

The after adding the red and blue card i heat embossed the sentiment and two flowers before finishing with a brad.

Here's my make for today.

Shock horror its not a card...lol.

I received a lovely tag in the post and thought i hadn't made one for ages.

So here it is using the Flowers+friends=priceless set.

And i sneaked a bit of gurnsey gingham in to

I just love the different flowers in this set.

I stamped and cut out 3 of each before adding a brad.

Ive embossed the sentiment.

And the stems were covered in glossy accents.

Inks used are mostly distress ink and momento.

Don't you just love new stamps!?

I have been playing with the new set Flowers+Friends=Priceless and I love it. There are five different flowers in the set, I only used two on this card so you can see how versatile it would be. This card is for a friend's 30th birthday which is today :)

The car is from a Unity set available at Make the Day Special, I think it goes great with the funky flowers.

I coloured the stamp using Zig art and graphic pens.

Once coloured i sprayed with a mini mister and stamped.

I love the way it came out almost watercolour.

I stamped the sentiment in black straight onto the card.

I have an 8" x 8" layout to show you today featuring the Cherish Your Dreams set from the Fall 2010 release.

I stamped the flourish corner twice on to lightly patterned paper before cutting it out and layering with foam pads to use as a corner over the photo.

I stamped the oval frame on to a piece of the same patterned paper before stamping the "happy" stamp in to the centre of it and then layered this over a large paper flower.

Materials used:
DCWV cardstock, Prima paper
{ippity} stamps (as above), Versamagic chalk ink, black Versafine ink
Prima flowers and centres
Fancy Pants rub-on
Gel pen and buttons.

I have a masculine birthday card to share with you today using the fabulous 'Party Hat Wishes' set from Ippity and the numbers from Unity's 'Learning {year by year}'. This particular card is for my nephew who recently turned 16. Birthday cards are not my forte (just as masculine cards aren't) - so this set from ippity came in very handy!

Hi!! Today I have a canvas to show you which uses the 2 {ippity} sets Now and Always available here and Dots For Sure available from here.

I covered the canvas with paper and randomly stamped using the {ippity} stamps and Versafine ink. I then used a Unity set Insightful Meadows to stamp the flower head before adding a die-cut and embellishments:

Queen of Everything!

Well I couldn't let a Royal Wedding go by without making a tribute to the event now, could I? Feeling very inspired by all the royal hype, I invested in some fancy paper and got out all the shiny things I could find. Here's what I came up with:

I cut out one of the crowns from the paper and embellished it with black stitching, silver gems and glossy accents before attaching it to more paper with foam pads.

I've added a tag from Ippity's 'Just Wanted to Say' and a sentiment from 'The Cat's Pyjamas' 'Loving Mew'.

Easter cards part two

So Ive tried to use non Easter type stamps for Easter cards.

Ive picked a couple of my favourite ippity stamps to use.

This card uses dots for sure, and now and always.

All very simple in design.

And you will have to forgive the poor sewing ...this is the first time i tried to sew something not square lol.

Again the same design.

Stamps used are a bit of burlap and where you should be.

Ive just used different colours and over stamped with each stamp.

And another using the here and now set, but with the gurnsey gingham for the background.
The flowers is just perfect for paper piecing.

A Spring ATC

The sun is shining and spring is in the air, so I was inspired to create a spring ATC. One of the things I love about ATCs is the size, such a nice size to play around with and experiment, and that's what i did with this project.

I started off with a piece of white cardstock that I adhered some green tissue paper to, I then stamped the flower pot image from the 'So this is Love' Set, using Shades of Green Blending Blox. I embossed this with clear embossing powder then stamped and embossed the image again. I stamped and embossed my sentiment and trimmed round it before placing it on my ATC. The background needed something else, so I added some yellow check washi tape, before stamping and embossing the flower pot image again. To finish my ATC off I inked the edges of it and the sentiment, and added a pierce detail to the corners.

A completely experimental piece for me, but was great fun, and it definitely looks like spring to me.
Hope I've inspired you to get your ink and stamps out and just have some fun.

Super Simple Saturday Stamping

Just a quick 'dashing off to a birthday party' type of post. Left without a suitable gift tag this morning, I hauled out my Make The Day Special stamps and my box of cardstock scraps. Inspiration struck when I spotted my favourites - the You Deserve set.

I stamped the sentiment into the middle of the cardstock, then stamped the beautiful florals off the edges of the cardstock to make a border. A quick inking of the edges later and the addition of some spare ribbon and my makeshift gift tag was good to go.

Super quick and super easy. You now have no excuse to leave those scraps languishing in your craft room. Give them a bit of stamping love.

That's the sentiment I chose to use on today's card, and what a wonderful sentiment it is. The image and sentiment both come from the 'So this is Love' Ippity set.

I used shades of sunrise marvy blending blox to stamp my image and sentiment, and teamed them with some orange vellum, pink patterened washi tape, and a few pink gems.

Hello.

Today i have used the set "cherish your dreams".

I love this set but sometimes wonder how to use it....if that makes sense.

I had some Websters pages out on my table and thought they would mix well together.

I have used distress inks to stamp and have distressed the edges a bit.

I have also used "thoughts from the past"

Its a brilliant vintage postcard.

Ive embellished the card using lace, seam binding, a button and pearls.
Hope Ive got the vintage look i wanted.

Burlap background

I love the "A Bit of Burlap" stamp as it's fabulous for adding a little bit of texture to projects.

For this card I stamped it using a grey ink on to kraft cardstock and then overstamped a Unity sentiment in black ink. I hand sewed a border using embroidery thread and added 2 patterned paper hearts.

Kraft cardstock, My Mind's Eye papers
stamps: A Bit of Burlap and a Unity stamp
grey Memento ink, black Versafine ink
Kaisercraft rhinestones

Fishes and Kisses

It's been a while since I posted here at Ippity Inspiration, but as I'm back designing for Make the Day Special, I couldn't NOT pop in, right?!

Emily challenged me to come up with something non-Valentinesy with a very lovey dovey set from Unity called 'Wishes and Kisses'...so I combined it with the adorable 'Fishy Philosophy' set from Ippity. I even added some lips to the fish for extra emphasis on the kisses!

New Home Tag!

Morning!
I enjoyed making my 'New Home' card so much that I thought I would make a Tag!

I have used the 'What Matters Most' set available from the lovely Emily here I had such fun making this :-) I stamped the Houses and then made a mask of the House on the right hand side so that I could stamp the Tree on the edge. I've coloured it in with my ProMarkers and put glossy accents on the Houses and the words....which I stamped onto spare pieces of card and stuck to the Tag. The background is coloured with my Distress Inks and water splattered...........love doing this, as I never know how it's going to turn out!

New Home!

Morning.
My first post using {ippity} stamps. :-)

I recently got 'What Matters Most' available in the UK from the lovely Emily here.

A friend moved house recently and I thought this set would be perfect to make a card for her.

Not quite my usual style, but I loved making this. I did start off with a 6" square blank and stamped straight onto this, but being my usual messy self made a complete mess on the back of the card...........so ended up cutting and sticking onto another and then hiding the join with ribbon! Coloured with my ProMarkers. The background is done with my Adirondak Inkpads and water splattered.

Hello Everyone! It might seem a little odd that I usually find myself creating gift tags in January (when you'd have thought that I might be sick of the sight of them!) but I generally have huge piles of scraps lying around after Christmas and I enjoy trying to use them all up so that I can start afresh.

This beautiful stamp set - You Deserve - is perfect for creating gift tags and cards for all occasions as it combines some bang on trend houndstooth print, with some beautiful blooms. So, there's something for everyone.

To make my gift tag, I've just used the houndstooth corner stamp to add a pop of colour and additional pattern to my cardstock and simply stamped the sentiment onto a chipboard element for extra dimension.

It might be quite simple, but it adds a fantastic finishing touch to your gifts, so scrounge around your craft room for all of those leftovers from your Christmas card making and whip out your Unity or Ippity stamps for a spot of weekend crafting.

I simply used a square punch to make 4 squares of patterned paper.

I then stamped the images.

I stuck them to the card using foam pads to raise them up.

You might recognise the image from the Ippity Summer 2010 release? A Summer stamp on a Christmas card? Yep, add a bit of snow and there you have it a Summer image turned to Winter.

I do love this stamp - so versatile :)

Hello, here is something i made...not sure what to call it but it will hang on my dd's bedroom door.
Ive used {Ippity} sets a bit of burlap, dots for sure , book it and now and always.
It might not be obvious so click the picture for a closer look.
I stamped the book it stamp a few times onto card then used a punch to make the flowers.
The bigger flowers i stamped onto using the dots for sure stamp.
The burlap stamp was used on the big circle....all the way around.
The butterflies and leaves are both from now and always.

Hello, Back to cards for today. I made this little set of cards using the "Now and always" and "Just wanted to say".

Both available from here and here.
I made the cards tiny 3x3 as {ippity} have a challenge on at the moment to make mini cards.
To get the flower more than one colour i used my momento dewdrop inks and just added colour from each pad starting from the center.
I then finished by simply stamping the sentiment and adding some pearls and diamonds.
I'm going to make a mini gift box to hold these and give them to my mum.

Hello, I thought i would share something a bit different today. I made this bunting using lots of {Ippity} stamps. Sets used are a bit of burlap, dots for sure, where you should be, totally happy and music of my heart. These stamps are available from Emily here here and here.
I used these colours as part of a challenge they are burgundy, pink, red, pale blue and bright blue. I started by cutting a strip of a4 cardstock each triangle is 3x2 and i got ten from that one strip of card. I used distress inks around all of the edges then stamped the image/background using the same ink. I then used some thickers on the middle ones to spell "create". I used some eyelets and some bakers twine to put it all together. And the finishing touch was some primas.
This is now making my new cork board look pretty.

Hello, i have a really quick card to show today...my favourite type lol. I have used the Ippity set "where you should be". I was playing with my distress inks and thought it turned out OK. I then stamped the images onto it with black ink. I like how it really stands out. I used my own sentiment before matting onto black card.

Hello, for this card i have used the {Ippity}sets "A bit of burlap" and" the simple things". Both available from here. I really love the images from both sets you can do so much with them. I started by stamping the image and cutting it out Ive used it as a mask and just lightly dabbed over the top with ink using and sponge applicator. You can use any ink to do this and the effect all depends on how much you dab the ink.I then stamped over the top using the same image in a Burgundy ink so that it stands out. I stamped using the bit of burlap to make the background and its all mounted on black card. I used one of my own sentiments and added some pearls to the burlap background.
Really simple and i love the effect of the masking.

Hello, Its that time of year when its dark more than its light and that of course means that Halloween is nearly here. These Halloween cards use the {Ippity} set " That's creepy " .
Now i know Halloween is meant to be a bit spooky but this is a really cute set.
The cards are only about 4x4 and i have used distress inks to colour the card. Then the pumpkin and the hat and trick or treat i have stamped separately and added to the card using foam pads. Ive used some black stuff, sorry i have no idea what its called but its like a straw ribbon and i thought it looked a bit like spider webs. These cards would also be great for Halloween party invites.

Hello ive gone for one of my favourite {ippity} kits " now and always" "now and always . I have made a stepper card...think thats what its called. These are really easy to make using a4 card. Ive stamped the flourish twice and added some pearls . Ive used the butterfly on patterned paper and once they were stuck onto the card ive added some pink distress stickles. Its finished of with a pink bow.

Good Morning

This morning i have this bright and cheery card for you made with the Quotes a 'la Happy set from {ippity}.

I used some plain brown cardboard-esque style cardstock and used the background checkerboard stamp in two tone colours to do the background, some were mounted on foam squares to make it stand out. The quote was stamped in green and coloured in orange.

then i added American Crafts felt flowers to fonish off with some co-ordinating brads.

Sorry for the poor picture but i had to use my flash cause of poor light.

Here's a little card i've made using the Where you Should Be set from {ippity}.
Now unfortunately the page kit and embellishments i used for this don't have a name on them but i think they are Chatterbox.

I layered paper and then added the 'Just Be' title on some white paper. I stamped the flower stamp images from the set and cut out leaving a white edge and stuck those down with foam pads, and added jewelled brads to the top.

Hello, I have made a simple quick and easy card today using {Ippity} sets "Now and always" and "Delightful little things" both available from Emily here.
Papers used are October afternoon. I have stamped the flower from now and always onto the pp and cut it out and layered before adding a button and bow. The sentiment from delightful little things was simply stamped onto plain card using black momento ink.

I haven't used this set for a while and it's lovely and such a big set. Check it out here.
I, like most of us at some time found i went completely blank when sitting down to make my card. So i just headed over to Sketches by Tamara for inspiration. If you look on the right hand side there is a section just for cards.

So i used my PP in strips and mounted the Quote on Bazzill before adding a few of the cut out snowflakes from the paper.

Hello, for this card i have used {Ippity} sets "Totally happy" and "You deserve" both available from Emily here and the single stamp "a bit of burlap" . I stamped straight onto some cotton rag paper with the burlap stamp then using black momento ink i stamped the flowers. I then painted the flowers using distress inks. They have dried a lot darker than i was hoping for. I then added some raffia and tied it in a bow before sticking to the Kraft card.

Today i've used the {ippity} Love in Return set on a layout.

I used the 10 things i {luv} about you stamp and the numbers 1-10 stamp. You might not understand the symbolism of the words but i get what they mean!
The pictures were taken last Christmas Day in the Lake District.

Very easy, i just stamped onto bazzill and used copics to colour the sun, and added a few buttons and ribbon.

Hello, no card today but instead i have made a little wall hanging using the "House a home " set from {Ippity} and Ive also used "dots for sure". I used my nesties, the biggest and next size down. I needed 6 of the large one then with the next size i cut a window from the other 3. I inked using distress inks the stamped the images in black momento so that they stood out. I punches holes on each corner and have threaded through some string which is stuck at the back to hold it in place. I added flowers and pearls to keep it simple.

Hello, here is my card for today using {Ippity} new release "House a home". Ive gone very simple, i like simple cards and have used some echo park papers and cut them with a border punch then layered them slightly. I stamped the image and use the border on the bottom edge to match the patterned paper. I added some fake stitches and a ribbon and bow.

Happy Sunday everyone!
This new set, Quotes a 'la Happy is really gorgeous and i'm loving using it! As well as the quote stamps and some pictures stamps there's lots to colour in if you love your copics or promarkers but not too much if you don't!
Today i've done a couple of items. Firstly a very simple card.

As you can see i just accented the card with ribbons and buttons and used the xxxx stamp across the middle of the ribbon on bazzill.

Secondly i've used the 'Your Smile Lifts Me' stamp down the side of this layout.

Hello, I have another black white and red card today, i still had stuff on my table and thought i would use it up. I have used three {Ippity} sets for this card. A bit of burlap, The simple things both available here and Just wanted to say from here. This was quite a simple card to make but there was a lot of cutting to get the flowers all bunched up. I tied the flowers with a little bow before sticking to the card. The background burlap stamp was stamped in white and then i stamped over it with the sentiment.

Some storage solutions....

Hey ippity peeps. I bring you some storage suggestions this week for all your gorgeous ippity stamps. If you're anything like me...you'll be accumulating a PILE of the ippity goodness!

My first suggestion is to use an empty cd case. Take out the middle and the stamps cling beautifully on the plastic casing. Cut out the image from the original packaging and add to the front. Quick and easy!

The whole 'Just Wanted to Say' set fits nicely into one case.

My second suggestion is a bit more sophisticated and involves purchasing or laminating your own A4 sheets. I've stamped each image onto the sheet with Stazon Ink and again, the stamps cling nicely to the plastic:

Stamping each images ensures they go back to the right set!

Add each sheet to a folder, and they'll fit nicely on any shelf or work space.

Here's a little card i've made that can be used for many occasions, whether it be a loved one or just a friend.

The centre dotty paper was done using the dotty stamp from this Love in Return {ippity} set.
The i used the tag stamp and the because of you stamp inside. I did stamp it a little bit wonky but sometimes i think we tend to try and be a little too 'perfect' so i left it slightly imperfect :)

Hello ippity peeps! Today's card for you uses part of an image from the gorgeous 'Delightful Little Things' Set:

I stamped the house image from the quote 'The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live' several times and cut out the image. Using foam pads, I doubled up each image to create a 3d effect. I added buttons and attached to a piece of vellum. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Unity's 'Life is Fabulous' kit, available from Emily's Make the Day Special shop.

Hi, my card for today uses the {Ippity} set "Where you should be". I love this set alot. I have made this a fun bright card and used echo park papers. I cut a shape from my nesties then stamped the image straight onto a journaling card. I coloured the image with my pro markers in colours to go with the papers. Once it was all put together i added some buttons to top the flowers and added some fake stitches.

Textural Ippity Trees

Hi Guys, I've got an {Ippity} make for you today using the gorgeous {Ippity} kit What Matters Most stamps with card, paints, fabric and corrugated card.

I've used a mix of Acrylic paint and watercolour pens and pencils to colour the tree and bird stamps.

I've also used my acrylics to colour the fabric, then finished the piece with a bit of sewing.

I just love the sentiment!

Hello another really simple card today using the "Delightful little things" stamp set available from here. This is the first time i have inked up this sentiment which i stamped straight onto some pp then matted on pink card stock. I have coloured the hearts and flowers on the sentiment using my pro markers. There is alot of machine stitching and i added some ric- rak and the flowery Rosette thing to finish.

Hi everyone, Monday again!

I have started making a few little bits and bobs for Christmas Presents (I know its August but there are a lot to make and I loose interest). My make today is this little desk calender/notepaper holder.

The little drawer can be used for scraps of paper or post it notes to make it super useful to keep by the phone or on a desk.

There are instruction for making these all over the Internet and if anyone finds one in cms I would be very grateful for the link as my scorepal is metric and I had to fiddle around with an old, broken paper trimmer to make this using the imperial measurements... worth it though :)
